The Band
Grammy award-winning band Zac Brown Band are a multi-platinum musical force boasting an impressive array of talent. Lead singer Zac Brown is a singer-songwriter whose style transcends country genres to appeal to a wider audience.
Brown began playing guitar at age seven, honing his craft by performing solo gigs at local venues. His eclectic taste in music – from rock to bluegrass – helped him establish his unique sound.
Current membership consists of eight musicians: Zac Brown (guitar and lead vocals), Jimmy De Martini (fiddle), John Driskell Hopkins (bass banjo, ukulele, guitar and backing vocals), Coy Bowles (guitar), Chris Fryar (drums), Clay Cook (guitar, piano pedal steel mandolin backing vocals) and Matt Mangano (bass guitar). Caroline Jones will join the group for performances and studio work while still maintaining her solo career – she will also maintain her solo career a solo career alongside Clay Cook! Based out of Atlanta Georgia with an extensive touring schedule dedicated fans devoted to their energetic live shows!
The Members

Brown’s vocal techniques range from smooth crooning to powerful belting, giving him the ability to express raw emotions while connecting with audiences in an emotional manner. Coy Bowles began his musical journey playing dive bars before moving to Atlanta and immersing himself in its music scene. Two years after moving there he formed Coy Bowles and the Fellowship band that soon led them into sitting-in with Zac Brown Band as an interim bass guitarist/singer/flat-picker/vocalist. Bowles is widely recognized for his exceptional flat-picking techniques as well as vast knowledge of popular songs that allow him to bring an impressive presence when onstage with them. He plays bass guitar/vocals while singing backing vocals/vocals when sitting-in.
The Music
The Zac Brown Band has become a mainstay of country music since their 2008 debut album and have captured non-country listeners as well. Their songs range from celebrating their Southern home region, to touching on personal issues related to relationships and everything in between – offering something for every taste and experience level.
Their playful creativity translates to their live shows with the use of various sound effects and kazoo on “Fun Having Fun.” Additionally, their musical talent transcends traditional country genres as evidenced by a cover of Metallica’s “Enter Sandman.”
